Leslie Uggams explains "June Is Bustin' Out All Over" debacle

My dear wonderful Leslie Uggams, Tony Award winner for Best Actress 1968, sat down with the always entertaining "Seth's Broadway Chatterbox" to focus a rare less-than-perfect Uggams moment — an incident that had faded into obscurity until brought to newfound infamy via YouTube.

 Leslie tells the story of how she almost had to invent a new language to cover the "slipped" lyrics during a live performance of Rodgers and Hammerstein's "June is Bustin' Out All Over."

 I've worked with Leslie - a dream to work with: true talent, great work ethic and the most beautiful spirit. It just doesn't get any better. Watch the video and you see the real Leslie. The first one to laugh at herself, and she enjoys a good laugh no matter what. What a great star.
